The company name first appeared in 1914 when the Koerting and Matthiesen Company, which had been in business since at least 1899, changed their name to the Kandem Electric Company. The company electrical goods such as fans and lights. As wireless became more popular the company started handling products of the Menominee Electric Manufacturing Company. Apparently the company did a good job distributing the Menonimee Electric products because the company was bought out by them in 1918. |
