History:

Palstar President and CEO, Paul Hrivnak, started his career as an electrical engineer in the automotive industry with his first job at the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. He then moved to cable broadcasting and invented the very first infra-red remote control for use in cable television, which his company sold to Philips. His first amateur radio start-up was Vectronics back in the 1980s. In the 1990s, he became a U.S. citizen and started Palstar Incorporated in Piqua, OH.
