Prior to being taken over and merged with the Schultz Machine Co., Inc. of Newark, the Vacuum Tube Products Co. was already operated as an interest of the Schultz company.

In September 1929, Vacuum Tube Products and Schultz Machine merged to form the Radio Products Corporation.
