Archbold Brothers, furniture manufacturers, registered as a private company in April 1919. [2] In October 1922 they announced, “the new Echoleon gramophone is a masterpiece. It would be difficult to imagine anything more perfect in tone-quality, or more pleasing design and workmanship”. [3] The manufactured and distributed Echoleon gramophones in many styles from 1922 until late 1926. The company closed in 1961.
