History:

Company was established by Jaroslav Vadas in 1919. In the beginning company focused on electrical engines, they came to the market with first electrical washing machine in CS. In middle of 20s they had got a huge order, they produced for whole city of Pardubice home fuse-boards with logo of company and Pardubice. In beginning od 30s they extended production to different electrical machines, electrical sockets, electrical measurement devices, electrical switch boards, regulators. Most worldwide popular was "Vadaska" for phase order and voltage measurement. They established cooperation with Bosch for car-electric parts. Before WW2 they extended production to copying-lamps, power supply, battery chargers, lightning protection and home electrical devices, like cooker, electrical pillow, electric iron etc.

During WW2 company was under nazi control, company owner was arrested by Gestapo, but he stayed alive and after war he continued in his activities. Unfortunately, company was nationalized in 1948 and since 1952 it was included to Energetické strojírny n.p. Brno.
