Tube brand: Alpha Tyne "Saga of the vacuum tube" page 351: 1923 - Maker unknown, but he also made Murdon tubes, and the manufacture of both brands was stopped by court injunction in 1923. The Radio Digest magazine for May 1923 carries an advertisement for the Murdon Appliance Company of 160 5th Avenue, New York and states that two tubes were offered. These are a 201A type and a WD12 type. |
