Summary:

Philco Rádio e Televisão
São Paulo

History:

Philco Radio and Television had a strong presence in the Brazilian market, mainly on TV, in the decades 60-80.

In 1994 it was acquired by Itaú banking group, when it became known as the Itautec Philco.

In 2005 it was acquired by Gradiente Eletrônica SA, which two years later sold the license of use of the Philco brand to Britânia, who markets electronics and home appliances. As this license is for a period, Britânia still tries to buy definitively the Philco brand from Gradiente.

This manufacturer was suggested by Meyer Rochwerger.
