Pierson Electronic Corp. was founded in 1946 by Karl E. Pierson, W6BGH.
The first company founded by Karl Pierson was Pierson-De Lane, he established Pierson Electronic Corp. in 1946, the company produced only one receiver, the KP-81. In 1955 Karl Pierson formed as successor to his own company Pierson-Holt Electronics together with Eskil Holt. This has been sold to Automation Electronics in 1957, where Karl Pierson continued to work as chief engineer.
