Mid-Way (Midway) Sales Inc. Also known as Midway Sales Co., Midway Co., and Midway Radio Co. Known products sold included “Pocket” crystal radios, intercoms, walkie-talkies, radio-microphones, and wireless microphones. The Western Manufacturing Company, founded by Paul S. Beshore (1914-1988) and his brothers, was the umbrella company for several companies manufacturing "Pocket" crystal radios and other products. Mid-Way Sales Inc. was founded as the primary sales division for Western and all of its umbrella companies. Although the exact incorporation date is not known, it most likely was incorporated when other post-WW2 Beshore companies were founded in 1947.
