I am looking for data, pinout for 9-pin valve 6BH5A. I can only find reference to 6BH5.

I have one in an Australian radiogram that is unbranded.

The valve line-up is: 6AN7, 6BH5A, 6N8, 6M5, 6V4.

Thanks for any advice.

For valve types of american origin and of that generation, differences between the basic version and the version with "A" suffix are usually almost negligible. Often the "A" denotes that the valve heater has controlled warm-up time so it safely can be used in series heating chains like in television sets. In other cases, the "A" means a later and slightly improved version that however is fully interchangeable with the basic version.

With exception of the base, the 6BH5 is electrically identical with type EF41.

For more data and curves see under EF41.

Thank you for this information. Very helpful. I can now fault-find the radio knowing that the pin configuration is correct.

Thanks for this information, knowing that the EF41 is an equivalent helps a lot with finding the fault on this radio.
