Shall I upload complete Adobe PDF operation's manual and service manual, very high quality, includes schematics?

I am asking because I am not sure if such booklets (original manufacturer's manuals, scanned to create PDF files) are desired in general by radiomuseum.

I have many to contribute so this is an important issue for me.

If ONLY the schematic diagrams are wanted, I can accommodate by sending only those pages from said service manuals.

Thank you.

Dear Alex
Thank you for your question.
First I have to tell you that this is the most difficult job you can do for RMorg. If you like to challenged - then it is a very good thing and helps many others.

Heribert Jung (you find him in the member list) will help you with the first steps and can even take apart such PDFs for you. He also corresponds in English.

Generally we have a system which needs PNGs to be able to wrap them into a PDF including a source information printed. This means that we have to upload page by page and therefore we omit pages which are today useless - like list of components (if values are given in the schematic) etc.

You might please read first this article about how to manage in a common way (with freeware).

Easier is to start with pictures ;-) - but any activity is welcome. Sorry, I found this only by chance - it waited too long. I will write to you to give you the URL of this.

Thank you for your reply -- Apologies for the delay but I have been ill.

I will read the information at the links you provided and soon will make my first attempt to upload drawings.  I am a very experienced computer user (many years as a consultant and troubleshooter), so I do not anticipate any problems with your procedure.

Cheers... Alex

Dear Alex
Your score shows one picture (from the 1st of June).
I hope you have fully recovered. Would be nice you could try an upload. Your first picture, it is for a UK Grundig TK-14 is really very tiny. It measures 251 x 219 pixels - and you wrote that it is a temporary picture ...
Where can we help you? Can you please read some articles in the FAQ first? This one is very essential for pictures.
