Whilst the Model Number on my example is shown on the case bottom as MF026 the designation on the slide that releases the power cord from the case is MFO 26. I.E MIKE FOXTROT ZERO TWO NONE versus MIKE FOXTROT OSCAR (space) TWO NINE.

In the days of typewriters and manual typesetting and stencils on Drawing boards the I (small L) and 1 (one) also 0 (Zero) and O (Large o Oh) are often interchanged.
