Hi all, I'm looking for the the dial cord "route" for the C G E CL-500.
Also, while I'm at it...I'm attempting to restore it and am almost there. It is doing something weird...the pilot bulb comes on solid with the initial "turn on" and then pulses on and off after warming up. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter? Thanks

Regarding the dial lamp, according to the schematic it is connected in parallell to a part of the heater of the mains rectifier 35Z5GT. One possibility could be an intermittent contact either in the tube itself or maybe the tube socket/holder. If you got another 35Z5GT on hand, try swapping the tube. Check all solder joints carefully, even where the leads from the tube bulb are soldered in the octal socket pins. Using a loose pin from a scrapped octal tube, try all terminals of the tube holder to make sure they have good contact pressure.

Thank you so much for your input, Torbjorn,
I will try your suggestions. However, the pulsing of the pilot light is very uniform Iand at a steady frequency. I have tested the capacitors with my newly built Capacitor Leakage tester from Radiomuseum Kit. I'm desperate at this point. LOL. I would upload a short video of the light pulsing but it's the wrong file type.
