grundig: Grundig 80U (80 U) Funkschau 1955 translation

Dear RMORG friends and, in particular, Herr Bernhard Nagel, who posted an excellent account of his restoration of the first 3 tube AM/FM radio from grundig, the model 80.  I read Bernhard's German language post with the help of Google Translate.

Bernhard also posted a very good article from Funkschau in 1955, also in German language. This article is posted in the members-only section of the Grundig model 80 schematics.

I have long admired the elegance and performance of the Grundig 3 tube AM/FM radios, so I arranged for a translation of this article in English Language.

The original article was written by H. Brauns. The original scan in German by Bernard Nagel.
