perpetuum: Perpetuum Ebner Rex - help finding belts.

Good morning Gentlmen.

As the title say, I am in troubles with this record player. The idle rollers are interconnected with three extremely small but very tall rubber belts which seems impossibile to find. I asked even to very old retailers in Italy, and nobody has even SAW them before. Plus, I have written to all international shops suggested in a previous thread, unfortunately with no success.

Does anyone still have some of those? Any shop still supplying them? Anyone who had success with a belt-making kit? Any idea for bulding up a replacement with household material (bycicle tires' inner tube?).

Could some german-speaking fellow gently read through the other forum topics of this model and check if there is any information concerning the belts in there?

not long ago a German company which specialized in belts (mainly for tape recorders) reproduced the PE Rex part you are in need of.

You can reach them via www.elektro-ersatzteile.org.

The belts do fit the following models:
