please someone knows the difference between the PL81 and PL81A ?

reading the two datasheet I do not see any difference...

Wolfgang Bauer sent a mail with the following information for you:

"The characteristics are slightly different. The PL81A is mechanically somewhat more robust probably due to its application in portable TV sets."
