I have just bought a Freiburg Vollautomatic 125 Stereo from Germany. It is in very good working order, but the previous owner has adjusted the FM range so that it goes up to 108Mhz. The problem now is that the calibration is inaccurate and the range starts at about 93Mhz. I would like to adjust it back to the way it should be and assume that this will involve adjusting the Fm oscillator coil. I would be grateful for advice as to how to get this back to normal please!  Bryan

Hi, Bryan,

i would recommend to check. if the small steel wire, which actuates the tuning Mechanism at the FM Unit, just needs to be readjusted. This is done with the Adjusting screw at the fixed end of that wire.

You also schould check, if the Wire runs correctly on the little wheel at the end of the Actuating Lever. I have seen instances, where the wire has "slipped off" for any reason, and was running just on the shaft, but not on the wheel.

In most cases, this schould help.

Best Regards, and please feel free to ask further questions,

Henning
