I am aligning the control IF transformer for the automatic tune. It is apparent some one has adjusted the two couplings that are marked Do Not Adjust. I can not get the required 30 volts at test point P-Y (FM). I can only get about 10 volts. AM is about 14 volts. I have replaced Ro 701 ECL80 and Ro 702 EABC80 with no improvement.

I need help. How would I begin to get the Do Not Adjust couplings 782/5 (FM) and the 784/7 (AM) couplings adjusted? And what would keep the test voltages down?

And a restoration replacement of all electrolytic capacitors, selenium diodes and resistors (out of tolerance) has been performed. All of the previous modifications have been reversed. All DC bias are good in the control circuit. I have successfully completed the alignment up to this point.

The AC voltages Scan (Suchlauf) and High Speed (Schellauf) on motor driver Ro701 are very low.
