siemens: 48WLK; Länderband-S.

Last week I visited our local antique shop and I bought a radio which I thought first it was Telefunken due to its back plate. At home I found out it was Landerband 48WLK. Its back plate perfectly match the case and chassis but it is from Telefunken! I have never heard about Telefunken 48 LK "REX". From the plate you can read it had DC supply 110, 150, 220V and 4 tubes: BCH1, RENS1834, REN1826 and RENS1823d. Is it possible Siemens and Telefunken made the same set?

Telefunken was founded in 1903 by Siemens and AEG. Beginning in the late 20ies Telefunken developed most of the radios for the group and then they were sold either as Telefunken , AEG or Siemens. Interestingly Telefunken had no production plants, all radios were manufactured by Siemens and AEG.
Most of the devices had the same inner life, but the cabinets were different (for example AEG Ultra-Geadem Telefunken 343W and Siemens 46W are electrically exactly the same models).
So, for some reasons, the Siemens 48 seems to be sold as Telefunken 48. Probably this was only done for export to foreign countries. I can't find the 48 as Telefunken in my (german) literature and the rear panel also indicates an export model. Another reason could be, that the device was built under Telefunken license. The Telefunken-sign on the rear panel looks a bit like the ones on the Radiotechnica Telefunken.
One question: Is there also a telefunken sign on the tuning indicator? I can't recognize it at the picture. Also you can also check the parts, which where used in the radio. Where are they mainly produced?

thank you for your remarks. I finaly found a quiet moment to do some "research" and take few photos. Tuning indicator bears a Siemens sign and chassis as well. So do resistors. In my opinion it is definitely Siemens 48WLK made in Germany. I enclose photos showing some details. It would be great to plumb the depths of the mistery.

Dear Eduard! So, now it seems to be clear: Someone has changed the rear panel. Neither the tubes are the same as on the backplane nor are the markings for the voltage setting fitting to the ones of the transformer. So probably the original back plate was lost and someone has changed it to the actual. Anyway, there is a new question: Who knows a radio names Telefunken 48LK "REX"? Kind regards, Dirk Becker
