New information! Based on my search, I think the Blaupunk and Klangfilm companies had a similar speaker in Germany.

That is a Telefunken/AEG or Siemens speaker from the 1937/1938 season. One year later the voice coil was centered by a big (phenolic?) spider at the back side of the membrane.
