On DIY Audio forum, someone has posted an older Harman Kardon tuner/preamp he found.

I flipped through the RM pages for H-K and did not see anything with the same styling. Maybe someone here knows what it is.

Harman Kardon A-100. Seems to be predecessor to A-200 with very slight differences. Has half-circle arc dial (pointer on tuning capacitor) instead of the A-200's linear dial (string on pulleys). Magazine clip to prove this model existed, HK's ad, and comparison of A-100 and A-200 chassis, attached.

More photos of the A-100 are stored on the DIYA forum.

Hi Paul,

the Harman Kardon FM-AM Tuner A-100 has been created as a new model page. Pictures are welcome.
