Hello,

I located schematic and some other data of AMALGAMATED WIRELESS AUSTRALASIA AWA RADIOLA 430-MA AC RADIO SM from "electrotanya" website. It states that circuits are free to download for personal use but cannot be sold. I could upload it to model page which currently is missing it.

Vesa

Hi Vesa,

please link our internal site of the radiola model or write the name, like it is written on model-page, or write the model-ID (to find on top right).

"for personal use" is not for using it on other sites. We neve copy files from any website without permission.

Hello Mr. Karppinen,

I want to help you, I'm sure you mean these two models:

Radiola 430MA [with X61 converter.]  and Radiola 430MA [with X79 converter.]

Regards WB.

Vesa,

I have examined the AWA 430MA schematic from Elektrotanya and have determined that it was taken from Kevin Chants site.

Kevin has had a lot issues of schematics been leached from his site - a lot of them ending up at Elektrotanya & here at Radiomuseum. Kevins schematics are freely available for personal use, but never for resale or redistributing on other sites.

So the answer is: only upload schematics to Radiomuseum from original material that you have scanned yourself.

Regards,

Martin.

Hello Wolfang and Martin,

Thank you for your replies. My radio is with X61 converter.

Reagarding uploading schematics question just to get it right.  Can I then print the schematic, maybe make add some notes and scan it and upload that way. Or what about attaching a link for the schematic from the original source to Radiomuseum page?

Regards,

Vesa

Hi Vesa,
no! A scan from a print has a worse quality than a png file extracted from a PDF. But it is not allowed to upload it, if the PDF is a download from any website.

You may get a lot of original documents from manufacturer or historic schema books in an old loacal radio shop, if it will close down. Than you have much to scan for the next years.

No external link is allowed, because links often have a short lifetime.

Please upload good pictures from your radio to Radiola 430MA with X61 converter.

Regards,
Heribert
