The Municipal Museum of Radio, Communication Techniques and Heritage of Trooz has a collection of more than 50 radios and objects about communication techniques and the heritage of Trooz. There are about fifty classic and military radios on display, each with an identification sheet with the production date and a photograph. In addition to radios, other communication devices are on display, ranging from the pioneers (Morse) to the most recent developments.

Finally, objects and documents from the local heritage, such as bones found in the caves of Fonds de Forêt, and an old railway plate from Nessonvaux station, are on display.

This museum provides the opportunity to take a trip back into the past by following the development of the wireless, a 20th century invention that affected our daily lives. From the first valve radios to the transistor revolution, the museum retraces part of this universal technical heritage.

Het gemeentelijk museum voor radio, communicatietechnieken en erfgoed van Trooz bezit een verzameling van meer dan 50 radio’s en voorwerpen over communicatietechnieken en het erfgoed van Trooz. Er zijn ongeveer vijftig klassieke en militaire radio’s te zien, telkens voorzien van een identificatiefiche met de productiedatum en een foto. Behalve radio’s worden er ook ander communicatietoestellen tentoongesteld, gaande van de pioniers (morse) tot de meest recente ontwikkelingen.

Ten slotte worden er voorwerpen en documenten getoond uit het lokale erfgoed, zoals beenderen die in de grotten van Fonds de Forêt werden gevonden, en een oude spoorwegplaat van het station van Nessonvaux.
