Das Besucherbergwerk liegt nur ca. 50 m vom Haltepunkt 'Andreas Gegentrum Stolln' der Pressnitztalbahn entfernt. |
| Descripción | Das besondere Besucherbergwerk im malerischen Preßnitztal hat als Einziges im Erzgebirge einen Kleinbahnanschluss. 1748 wurde hier mit dem Schürfen begonnen. Man fand Rotgültigerz, Kobalt und silberhaltige Kiese. Von 1749 bis 1841 läßt sich eine Erzausbeute von ca. 140 kg Silber und ca. 720 kg Kobalt nachweisen. 1997 erhielt das Grubenareal vom Bergamt Chemnitz den Status eines Besucherbergwerkes. Zum Grubenkomplex führt ein Bergbaulehrpfad, welcher aus Richtung Grumbach kommend, auf 15 Tafeln die Montangeschichte der Region veranschaulicht. |
