| Description | In der Erdholländermühle auf dem Mühlenberg ist seit 1969 das Museum untergebracht. Sehens- und Wissenswertes zur Ur- und Frühgeschichte sowie zur Geschichte der 1298 erstmals urkundlich erwähnten Stadt ergänzt die umfassende Exposition zum alten Müllerhandwerk. Diverse Dokumente zur Mühlentechnik und zu Mühlenplätzen in der Umgebung, Mühlenmodelle, aber auch das mächtige Antriebswerk der Mühle, die sogenannte Königswelle, gibt es hier zu besichtigen. In nächster Umgebung zur Museumsmühle ist altes technisches Gerät ausgestellt, eine weitere Mühle kann besichtigt werden, ein originelles Mühlencafé lädt zu einem Besuch ein. |
