Description Fred Dibnah MBE, born in Bolton, was an English steeplejack and television personality, with a keen interest in mechanical engineering. Tours of his house are available, Visitors will see a suberb example of a Victorian gate house, together with lots of genuine Fred's fittings. See the beautiful kitchen just as Fred fitted it out, sit in his chair at the original marble kitchen table.

There are hundreds of amazing artefacts and the amazing collection of victorian machinery that Fred worked with, all in fully working condition, and all powered by steam.
