At the exhibition you can find out what the old surgical instruments differ from today, who founded the first hospitals in Serbia, which served "magical formulas", how blood transfusions were made in the past, how to treat tuberculosis before the discovery of drugs against Koch's bone and other . Also, you can find out why the 19th century was considered the golden age of medicine, who performed the first heart surgery in Serbia when it began to produce the Yugoslav penicillin, who first came up with the idea of ​​transferring the embryo.

The exhibition gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with the personalities of the most deserving Serbian doctors who are right in this building, which today is the headquarters of the Serbian Medical Society, treated patients with the use of new drugs and surgical methods.

Стална поставка Медицина у Србији кроз векове налази се у згради београдске болнице изграђене у 19. веку, у улици Џорџа Вашингтона 19.
 О дијагностиковању и лечењу различитих болести сведоче скелетни остаци, патолошки препарати, медицински инструменти, уређаји и апарати.

На изложби можете  открити по чему се  разликују стари  хируршки инструменти од данашњих, ко је основао прве болнице у Србији, чему су служиле „магијске формуле″, како се давала  трансфузија крви у прошлости, како се лечила туберкулоза пре открића лекова против Коховог бацила и др. Такође, можете  сазнати и зашто се 19. век сматра златним добом медицине, ко је извршио прву операцију срца у Србији,  када је је почео да се производи југословенски пеницилин, ко је први дошао на идеју трансфера ембриона.

Изложба вам пружа могућност да се упознате и с личностима најзаслужнијих српских лекара који су баш у овој згради, која је данас седиште Српског лекарског друштва, лечили болеснике применом нових лекова и оперативних метода.
