  • The  Grammont 5525 PS is similar or identical. The  Acora "Waves Glory 8" appears to be a similar case and valves/tubes, perhaps a different Power Supply circuit.

    Wavebands

    • GO (LW): 800 to 2000m
    • PO (MW): 180 to 575m
    • BE (or OCE is 49m Bandspread): 45 to 52m
    • OC (Shortwave): 21 to 62m

    About 5kg including batteries.

    Separate HT and LT batteries. The two series filaments of 3Q4 output have an extra series resistor to provide nominal 2.8V from 4.5V battery. The DK92 1T5 1S5 (nominal 4.2V) are in series directly from the 4.5V battery. A 4.5V Zinc Carbon battery is three cells with a Fresh voltage of 4.8V dropping to  2.7V when exhausted. Usually the Local oscillator stops just about 1V filament (3V end point in this case).
