The Admiral Y4928 is an AC operated 2 tube stereo record player. Has Qty(2) 5.25" PM speakers. Cabinet color is Green and Silver. Uses selenium rectifier in power supply circuit. Frequency response is 100 to 8000 cycles. Power consumption 40 Watts. A 50 cycle conversion kit was available. Excessive hum can be minimized by reversing the line cord in the wall outlet.
One side of the AC line cord is connected directly to the chassis. Use an isolation transformer when servicing this equipment.
