  • Anotaciones
  • The CommRadio CR-1A is a SDR (Software Defined Radio) communications receiver, covering 0.5 to 30 MHz, 64 to 260 MHz and 437 to 512 MHz in AM, SSB, FM, and CW modes. While the receiver covers the FM broadcast band, its mono audio is not intended for music listening. The receiver has an internal Li-Ion battery, which is rechargeable via an USB connection. It can also be run from an external DC supply that delivers 6-18 VDC via a 5 mm barrel connection that has a positive 2.1 mm center. Both power supplies will charge the Li-Ion battery. There are antenna jacks for a HF antenna and a VHF/UHF antenna. The 2.5 inch speaker is on the bottom, and there is also an external speeaker jack (3.5 mm stereo).

The CR-1A can be ran as a SDR receiver, but also can be ran as a conventional receiver without any computer connection. Software was not included with the radio.

The CR-1A replaced the CommRadio CR-1 in 2014. The only difference is that the CR-1A supports digital I-Q.
