Allied Knight B10565. Called "Knight All-Wave 8 Tube A.C. Superhet" on the 1938 Allied Knight Catalog. This receiver appeared first time in their 1938 catalog. About the photo: External front view of receiver while turned on. Visible is the Automatic Select-O-Dial with 9 pre-programmed radio stations, Magic Eye, "Airplane Gauge" type of dial, Band selected marked by the red dot light bulb (at present on BC band). Order of the knobs from left to right: Volume, On/Off and Tone control, Tuning, Band Selection. This radio is part of my own collection.
