  • The chassis used for this model is used by model 717 (console).  Models AK 317 and 337 chassis are identical but for the dial arrangement.  Atwater Kent introduced what he called the 'ARROW-LITE' tuning with 'Rainbow Dial' for the 1936 models.  Riders index does list model 637, but points to 317/337 (no particular sheet for 637). Slusser dates to 1932, although the 317 and 337 are dated 1935, Machine Age even to 1936.
