Variants

The Arcturus metal/glass typr 6A8 tube is unusual in that it employs a glass disc instead of the conventional "pinch" for introducing the lead-in wires into the glass bulb. The disc has the wires in a circular formation. (70 Years of Radiotubes and V. Pages 99 & 100)
