Shortwave-coverage 500 kHz - 30 MHz in 31 ranges, AM/CW/SSB (BFO). Triple conversion, drift eleminating loop circuit, developed by former RACAL employee Dr. Trevor L. Wadley (first used in RACAL RA-17). 1 IC, 11 diodes, only two ceramic IF-filters. This model has also FM - which is the difference to XCR-30 Mark II (without FM in the name).
