  • Notes
  • The model seems to be a variant on the Bartons AC Superhet described elsewhere on the website, but with a wooden cabinet. The power supply uses two RM2 (125V rms) metal rectifiers in series in the power supply as a half wave rectifier to produce the HT from the mains, without an HT transformer. 6.3V for the valves' heaters, and the dial lamp, is produced from an LT transformer. The valves fitted may not be the original, but typically for these kits, whatever valves to hand may have been supplied. The CV1053 fitted is equivalent to the EF39.
