Hi all,

I am currently struggling with a Braun PC4X turntable, within a SK61, the famous "snow white coffin" designed by Dieter Rams.

The problem is in the contraption that switches the turntable off at the end of the record.
Something catches the arm at the bottom of the turntable pit, swings it and the mechanism is triggered.

But my question is: what catches it? I attach a picture of the bottom of the platter. The only thing that protrudes is the bayonet holding down the 45 center piece when necessary (white plastic, retracted here).

But I can't believe this bayonet is also supposed to catch the end of record switching arm, since 1. it would interfere with the 45 center piece, and 2. the arm would get caught by the next bayonet (120° further) and would never get freed (I have actually tried to bend it to experiment this).

So I suspect some mechanical part is missing beneath the platter...
Does anyone own this turntable, and would be so kind as to post a picture of the bottom of the platter?
