  • In the early version of the UA6 auto changer, the main plate was a die-casting which included the two upright columns (for the pickup arm pivot and the rest also the column for the control arm.) Later versions had a pressed steel main plate with smaller die-cast columns being added to it. 

    A distinguishing feature of the UA6 and it's predecessor the UA5 is the manner in which the spindle passes through a hole in the tip of the arm.

    3-speed (33⅓, 45, and 78rpm) autochanger for up to 8 mixed 10-inch and 12-inch 78rpm records, 10 mixed 33⅓ rpm records or 10 x 7 inch records.  With reject function.
