Adaband Battery Model
The Adaband Battery Model is a battery-powered shortwave converter that adds two shortwave bands (13–29 metres and 30–71 metres) to compatible receivers. The converter features a dual ratio tuning knob for accurate shortwave tuning, and its installation is simple, allowing continued use of the existing radio for long and medium wave reception.
The battery model comes supplied with two valves (X21 and HL2) and an eight-page instruction booklet. It is housed in a walnut veneered cabinet and was priced at £5 5s, with hire purchase options available.
