    This model shows the different use of the word "Series" made by Bulova: in the 60s the last digit of a series is always 0 whereas, in the models of a given series, the last digit is a number from 1 to 7 and is related to the color (most common 2=ebony, 3=ivory, 5=red); see for example the series 350, 670, 690 or 740. The meaning of the word "Series" in models such as 1490 and 1495 is unknown.
