  • Thanks to an agreement stipulated in 1954 with the Emerson Radio Export Corporation of New York, CMC acquired the right to use the Emerson licences to produce and to sell in Canada receivers with the brand Emerson. The Marconi 588 belongs to this period but I didn't find the corresponding Emerson model, so this could be even an original CMC project.
