  • As advertised in the "Daily News" newspaper of April 9, 1934 this radio was demonstrated by G.F. Kearns in Perth, Western Australia as below  

    'Sunshine' radio is demonstrated by G. F Kearns of Hay-street, Perth. 'The cabinet is a full-sized floor 'console of delightful conception and superior construction. It is polished to a high lustre. The electro-dynamic full-sized speaker is specially matched to the output valve to ensure faultless reproduction. The chassis is a superheterodyne five-valve using a three-gang pre-selector to ensure sharp tuning. Adequate station separation and absence of double spot tuning. Each chassis is ' individually tested on signal generator before delivery. Apart from the rectifier valve used, there is the 58 triple grid super control amplifier, 2A7 Pent-a- grid converter, 2B7 Duplex Diode Pentode and 2A5 power amplifier pentode.
