  • Notes
  • The CEI type 965-4 receiver is designed for AM, FM and CW reception in the frequency range of 10 - 90 MHz. The range is covered with two bands: 10 to 30 MHz and 30 to 90 MHz. Separate RF tubes are used for each band. The IF bandwidth can be set to 10 kHz, 50 kHz or 200 kHz using a front panel switch. A BFO oscillator (± 20 kHz) is available in all bandwidth positions for CW reception.
Signal outputs from the receiver are:
    - audio output (phone jack in the front panel and pin 4 and 5 in the back panel terminal strip)
    - IF output (100 mV at 21,4 MHz)
    - signal monitor output (21.4 MHz center IF signal)
    - video monitor output (5 Volt rms on 10 kOhm load).

All tubes used are of Nuvistor type.
