    Looks somehow unusual for Clapp-Eastham using a wooden variometer, when the known varios (Blitzen etc.) were always made from hard rubber. The dial knob is of a type used in 1920/21. There are no post WW1 tubeless models known yet. This one looks so extremely new, that doubts seem to be indicated. Maybe a fake ?
