  • Seven dials (primary tuning control knobs). This set will make a strong appeal to those interested in continuous wave and radio telephone reception by its novel feature of duplicate tuning elements. When two stations are conversing by the above means, at somewhat different wave lengths it is practically impossible to make the necessary adjustments in changing from one to the other without losing a large part of the conversation. With our Z. R. Double Receiver, one set of tuning elements is adjusted to one trans- mitter and the second set of tuning elements is adjusted to the second transmitter and the change over can be made instantly by throwing the two Z. R. S6 switches shown on the front of the panel. The set consists of the same instruments as our Type Z. R. F. D. A., except that all tuning elements are in duplicate, employing a common antenna and ground and a common detector and two stage amplifier. Mounting is in a very heavy oak carry-ing case with handle and when the cover is in the closed position the set is easily portable and is complete and self contained except telephones and batteries. Price does not include bulbs, batteries or telephones, but otherwise complete. Sizes, 26 3/4 inches long, 11 1/2 inches high, 10 5/8 inches deep. Weight, 26 pounds.
