    Note: Much of the construction of the wedge radios appears to have been done on a template external to the radio chassis.  The component leads and wires apperantly were twisted together and soldered before the assembly was placed in the chassis and tack soldered to the tube socket and other component lugs.  These radios have a reputation for poor solder joints among radio collectors.
