Models 2000 and 2100 are compact versatile oscilloscopes for general-purpose measurements.
Physically, the two instruments are almost identical and the circuitry for each Model is very similar.
Both Models employ a modern double-gun CRT which provides a brilliant display with excellent definition. The CRT for Model 2100, however, is fitted with a spiral post-deflexion anode and is operated at a higher voltage so that faster writing speeds can be attained than with Model 2000.

With this CRT, the bandwidth of Model 2100 is also increased over that of Model 2000 by approximately 1 MHz. Two identical amplifiers with built-in pre-amplifiers are provided for Y deflexion.

This oscilloscope employs a 4in double gun cathode ray tube operating at 4 kV.
Two identical Y amplifiers with a bandwidth of d.c. to 6 MHz, Sensitivity ranges extending from 100 mV/cm to 100 V/cm. Built-in preamplifiers increase Y sensitivity to 1 mV/cm at 10 Hz to 200 kHz or to 10 mV/cm at 5 Hz to 1 MHz.
    Time-base ranges extend from 1 µsec/cm to  3 sec/cm in 21 calibrated ranges.
