  • The Crain Bros. Radio Shoppe Aeriola X crystal set was only advertised for three months (Oct.-Dec.) in the periodical Radio News magazine. In January another ad appeared in Radio News announcing the name change from Aeriola X to Crain Craft Jr.

    It is presumed that Westinghouse (RCA) sued the company for using the trademark Aeriola name and Crain was forced to change it.
