AM/FM Stereo Receiver SRC-80

The Cybernet SRC-80 was a high-fidelity analogue AM/FM stereo receiver.

Amplifier Section:

• Power Output: 45 Watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms, both channels driven, with a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
• Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): Less than 0.1% at rated power, ensuring minimal signal distortion.

• Tone Controls: Adjustable bass and treble with ±10 dB boost/cut at 100 Hz and 10 kHz, respectively, complemented by loudness compensation.

Tuning and Reception:

• FM Section Sensitivity: High sensitivity with a capture ratio under 1.5 dB, enabling stable tuning and reduced noise.
• Stereo Separation: Greater than 45 dB at 1 kHz for accurate stereo imaging.
• Signal-to-Noise Ratio (FM): Exceeds 65 dB in stereo mode.
• AM Reception Range: From 510 kHz to 1,605 kHz with high selectivity and sensitivity.
• Tuner Display: Utilises an LED numerical frequency display allowing accurate and easy station identification.

Inputs and Outputs:

• Phono inputs: Supports both magnetic and crystal cartridge types.
• Auxiliary inputs: Multiple line-level inputs for connecting tape decks, cassette players, and other external sources.
• Speaker Outputs: Supports connection of one or two speaker sets with protection circuitry.
• Tape Monitor: Supports monitoring and recording with two tape decks.
• Headphone Output: Stereo headphone jack on the front panel.
