  • The DeForest Type OT-3 transmitter consisted of two panels. The left panel contains the aerial oscillating circuit with all necessary controls. A send/receive switch is also located near the base of the panel. The antennae and plate taps on the helix, in the rear of the panel, are controlled by the 10-point switches shown on the face. The right panel had a 0-1 amp hot-wire ammeter, three standard UV tube sockets and a modulation transformer.
