  • Notes
  • The PJ-1 DeForest Radio and Telegraph Co. One Step Audiophone Amplifier (Also called "Audion One Step Amplifier" by 1915 Clapp Eastham Catalog S) increases the intensity of the received signals from five to twenty-five times. The amplifier was supplied with two Audion bulbs, one as a renewal bulb so the dead bulb could be sent back for exchange. The price was probably for the set with only one bulb. Later (1917) the backup bulb was included (for an increased price of course).
